In the digital age, in every domain; medical, transport, lodging and dining, there are digital platforms that connect supply to demand. The scientific and technological sectors however, predominantly rely on word-of-mouth and networking. « These sectors suffer from a lack of technical resources: everyone works in a closed environment, without a powerful network. They struggle to innovate, and to conduct their research. LinkiLab responds directly to this need. » – Sofiane Belaïd, founder and president of LinkiLab.

Created in early 2019, the platform LinkiLab brings together public and private businesses to laboratories for the provision of services in multiple areas. « Our strength is in our team: we are 5 partners, 3 of which are full-time, with a profile web development and marketing, 4 of which are engineers in the field of science. » The in-house set of skills propel the team forward as they develop into the future. Today, Sean Bryans ensures the maintenance of the platform as well as the marketing strategy and Samir Beghdadi takes charge of business development, and customer service.

In France, LinkiLab has few competitors because of their competitive edge in the market. « The platform is entirely free for service providers: no annual costs, no registration fees or commissions. Only customers pay for operation cost, which is added to the estimate from the service provider. These fees allow us to expand the platform and bring more services to more customers. » In less than 5 months, LinkiLab hosts more than 80 member organizations, as well as offering over 600 services in several areas: chemistry, biology, pharmaceutical, material, mechanical, thermal, cad, prototype, 3d, simulation, modeling, and even big data.

Supported by IFPEN and a business mogul, LinkiLab has completed its first fundraising of 300,000€ in order to continue its development. Always innovative, LinkiLab plans to incorporate two new services to its platform, the first concerning machine and equipment purchasing, referencing service provider accounts and the second on innovation, in order to encourage the relationship between partners and thus facilitate scientific collaborations and techniques.
